House in MONTIGNARGUES, near NIMES France
Our house is about 20 km north-west from Nîmes town centre. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen fitted with dish-washer, microwave and so on, a living room with a dining area, a friends bedroom with double bed and small private bathroom, a walking larder with washing machine, freezer and so on and a lavatory. Upstairs, there is a bathroom with lavatory, a bedroom with double-bed, another with double-bed, a third with 1 single bed and an open landing with an office. The house is well insulated, in front there is a patio covered with vine, and behind, north, another covered patio with sun only early in the morning! Around the house, there is the garden, around 2000 square metres with mediterranean plants. We don't have TV. Our house is heated/cooled by a heat pump combined with a floor heating/cooling.
Notre maison a environ 25 ans. Elle est située à une vingtaine de km au nord ouest de Nîmes sur un terrain non intégralement clos d'environ 2000 mètres carrés, planté de pins, d'oliviers et de divers arbres et arbustes méditerranéens.
Au rez de chaussée, il y a une chambre indépendante avec une petite salle de bains, une cuisine, une salle/salon, 2 celliers, une cave enterrée et 2 terrasses extérieures (nord et sud). A l'étage, 3 chambres, une pièce pallier/bureau et une grande salle de bains. La maison dispose de l'équipement électroménager habituel. Nous n'avons pas la télévision. Notre maison est chauffée/rafraichie par une pompe à chaleur combinée avec un plancher chauffant/rafraichissant.

Cosy, warm and comfortable house in a quiet and shaded garden set in a beautiful landscape. Nice exchange partners, good communication.
Alain und Pascale sind sehr sympathische Menschen, mit denen wir einen persönlichen wie auch schriftlichen Austausch hatten. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben, ruhig und unter Bäumen gelegen in einem kleinen Dorf, Auto erforderlich.

Pascale, retired teacher; Alain, retired teacher TOO; Hélène & Laure, twin sisters, 35 years old, don't come with us and don't live here.
We like to visit villages, cities, monuments, museums around the place where we exchange, by bicycle for example... When traveling, we like to practice walking, cycling (we often take our bicycles), and use local public transport. We have been using intervac since the 90s with great pleasure, almost every year sometimes two or three times a year. We don’t have any pets to keep. We have neither a private pool nor a television.
Pascale, enseignante à la retraite; Alain, enseignant à la retraite; Hélène et Laure, sœurs jumelles, 35 ans, ne viennent pas avec nous et ne vivent pas ici.
Nous aimons visiter villages, villes, monuments, musées autour de l'endroit où nous échangeons, à bicyclette par exemple... En voyage, Nous aimons pratiquer la marche, le vélo (nous emmenons souvent nos bicyclettes), et utiliser les transports en commun locaux. Nous utilisons intervac depuis les années 90 avec toujours un grand plaisir, presque tous les ans parfois deux ou trois fois par an. Nous n'avons pas d'animal domestique à garder. Nous n'avons ni piscine privée ni télévision.
