House at the beach in Atlantic Ciy, NJ
Our three bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath home sits 2 1/2 blocks from the beach (easily accessible on foot) and 1.5 blocks from the bay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood one mile away from the closest casino. Atlantic city is a year-round beach town offering shopping, dining and entertainment in summer and winter. Atlantic city beaches are free, and, in our neighborhood, the beach is wide and quiet.
The main floor of our home includes a three season room which we call the lanai. The living room, with a flat screen tv and comfortable seating, flows through to the spacious dining room. The kitchen is a nice size for cooking and includes a small table for two. You exit the kitchen down two steps to a powder room and laundry room and then can go outside to access the outdoor shower in the warmer months and the back patio through the garage where we store bikes and beach chairs.
The second floor of our house includes three nice size bedrooms and one full bath. All the rooms have multiple windows which let in lots of light and the sounds of seagulls passing through on their way to the beach.
Notre maison qui compte 3 chambres et 1 salle de bain et demie est situee pres de la plage, facilement accessible a pieds. La maison se trouve dans un voisinage tres calme, a 1.5 km du premier casino. Atlantic City est ouvert toute l'annee et offre beaucoup d'activites comme shopping, restaurants et spectacles en hivers comme en ete. Les plages d'Atlantic City sont gratuites. Les plages sont etendues et calmes.
Le rez de chausee de la maison inclue une veranda de trois saisons, un salon avec une television a grand ecran plat, une salle a manger et une cuisine. A cote de la cuisine il y a une buanderie et un WC. Derriere la maison se trouve un patio avec un BBQ, une douche a l'exterieure et le garage avec des velos et des chaises de plages.
Au deuxieme etage vous trouverez 3 chambres spacieuses et lumineuses et une salle de bain avec baignoire.

About the neighborhood
Lower Chelsea is more residential than some other neighborhoods in Atlantic City. Ventnor Avenue offers commercial services such as small food markets, bakeries and coffee shops. Other blocks feature mostly housing. You can walk along the bay, on the boardwalk or on Ventnor Avenue to stretch your legs and see varying sights. The beach may be our favorite place to walk, in any season.
Atlantic City is on the barrier island Absecon Island, with Ventnor, Margate and Longport, accessible by several bridges, with our house closest to the Albany Avenue bridge. We love cycling along the barrier islands, to Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Avalon and the Wildwoods.
We are a six minute drive from Lakes Bay, famous for windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding.
Nærmeste flyplass: Atlantic City, with Philadelphia International one hour away.

We are a French-US couple with one adult child who lives on his own. We love beaches and watersports and we love hiking, walking and cycling. We are super fans of Atlantic City, NJ and enjoy spending time there at any time of year. We love to travel and discover new places, though we also love returning to places previously visited.
