Big apartment in the heart of Hamburg
Our apartment is in the centre of Ottensen, a part of Hamburg - 2 tubestations away (5 minutes) from the famous "Reeperbahn" and 4 tubestations (10 minutes) from the city centre "Jungfernstieg". Ottensen is like a little city in Hamburg with nice little shops, a daily market, many restaurants .. all very family friendly with many playgrounds around. Our apartment is in a little side street, very quiet but just one walking minutes away from the centre of Ottensen and 2 walking minutes away from the station altona ("Altonaer Bahnhof") - one of Hamburgs main train stations with tube/bus/train connections to all areas in Hamburg. The harbour is 5 walking minutes away from our apartment where you can take any fairy for a city visit.
We won´t need a car-exchange. But if you want to come by airplane and need a car, you could use our car (Scoda Fabia).
We´re absolutely fine looking after some little (and well behaving) pets at your house, but don´t want you to bring a pet in our flat.

About the neighborhood
We live in Hamburg-Ottensen, which is a very popular neighborhood in Hamburg. The Elbe, the major river flowing through Hamburg, is within walking distance from our apartment, same is the case for the Reeperbahn, which is the most famous red light district in Germany. Ottensen is also famous for its numerous restaurants, small shops and cultural opportunities.

A really nice exchange, all well organised and everything was as described. We had a great time in Hamburg in this home.
Wir haben uns in der Wohnung von Laura und Patrick sehr wohl gefühlt, alles war perfekt, wir konnten jeden Tag am Balkon frühstücken und haben hervorragend in den Betten geschlafen. Die Wohnung lag zentral, gleich in der Nähe des Bahnhofs mit S-Bahn und Busanbindung, was uns Ausflüge in die Umgebung leicht machte. Wir können dieses Tauschangebot sehr empfehlen! herzlichst Mercedes und Harlad aus Wien

We are Patrick and Laura and have to children - Sophie (4) and Moritz (1). We live in the city, but are countryside people by heart. We love to travel and the concept of house exchange, which Laura has been doing since she was Sophie's age.
