Communication with the host family was exceptionally easy. We had agreed on a three‑week exchange, and it turned out to be a very well‑balanced arrangement that benefitted both parties. The hosts had prepared a wonderful introduction to the area Anthy and Thon le bas, including walking routes, towns, markets, and restaurant recommendations. We used it as our guide and ended up seeing a great deal. We also grilled in the garden, picked up food in town, and followed the hosts’ suggestion to shop at the local market a lovely experience.
We are grateful for a fantastic holiday and hope that we will be just as lucky with our future home exchanges.
