Wonderful 1920s family home in Naarden, Amsterdam area
We have had 13 home exchanges and love this way of travelling to get to know other families, countries and cultures! We are open for exchange offers for Christmas break and long weekends between vacations. Also, hoping to travel to the USA maybe next summer (though Spain, France or Italy are also nice).
Our wonderful home with large, private garden close to Amsterdam and close to nature is available for exchanges. We would especially love to go to Rome! But Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Croatia, or other offers are welcome too. For spring we would like to exchange closeby. Open to all offers :)
We have had many succesful exchanges in the past and love to discover new places close by and farther away! After moving this summer, we have an even nicer house to exchange with.
Our family of four (Martijn, 43; Julia, 41; Anna, 12; and Isaac, 8) live in Naarden, which is a great town, close to forests and just 20 mins by train or car from Amsterdam. Lots of great facilities in the area for kids, including several big nature playgrounds with restaurants on biking distance. Tons of walking and hiking opportunities as well as a nice town with restaurants and shops. Our house is about 150 m2 and has 4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. We have 4 adult bikes and 2 childrens bikes- and lots of toys to use!

We live in a quiet, dead-end street. The town of Naarden Vesting, a charming old town, is about 15 mins walking away. So is the center of Bussum which has lots of shops. We are quite close to the highway which makes Amsterdam close by. From our house, it is a 5 mins walk to the forest where you can walk for hours.

IT06755The exchange was very nice. The house is wonderful. The area is very interesting and in a perferct position to look Amsterdam and a loto of other town. It is possible to reach the station by feet and the trains, and the timetable are very good to go around. We had a very good comunication with the family.
