Townhouse next to nature reserve with walking distance to train station (Stockholm city 30 min)
Our house is located in a quiet area near the forest and a ten minute walk to the train station with trains to Uppsala (10 min) and Stockholm (30 min) four times an hour.
On the ground floor there is a connected kitchen and living room, bathroom, and upstairs there is a living room with a piano, two bedrooms (king size/queen size beds), bathroom and a home office. There are patios on both sides of the house.
There is one outdoor parking spot and a garage for the car next to the house.

We are open for suggestions and flexible in time. During June-August, when we are in our summer house, we only do non-simultaneous exchanges. You can stay at our house in the summer and we can travel to your place in the spring or fall. We like exchanges for about 1-4 weeks. We prefer small villages close to nature, mountains and water over big cities. For 2026 august is booked. |

About the neighborhood
Knivsta is a small town close to nature and yet close to both Stockholm and Uppsala. In Knivsta there are basic services such as grocery stores and a few cafes and restaurants. There is a swimming area in lake Valloxen (Särstabadet) within cycling distance (2 km).
There is a large selection of culture activities and restaurants in Uppsala and Stockholm. Trains run four times an hour to Stockholm (30 min) and to Uppsala (10 min). Stockholm international airport is just seven minutes away by train.

We spent two peceful weeks in mazagon off season for hikning and outdoor aktivities. The apartment is nice with walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The correspondence with Mauela before the exchange was very smooth. Can recommend a visit to this part of Spain.

Active couple that enjoy outdoor life and travelling
Agnetha (principal) and Thomas (consultant) live here. Our son is an adult and lives in Stockholm.
We like outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, sailing, kayaking etc. and traveling. We have done two Intervac exchanges about 20 years ago to the US and to France (old profile SE5502). Now when we have more time, we have started to do home exchanges again.
