Our home is located in a small town where everything is near. If you want nature you can just walk from home and take a hike to the nearby hills and if you prefer sights - Celje (15 minutes), Ljubljana (40 minutes) and many others are just short drive away.

This is my 50th exchange so have over the years spent a great deal of time creating a house manual to help my exchangers use appliances and understand the differences between living in the tropics on an island. I am always surprised and a little disappointed when my guests don’t use and follow the instructions. When I returned home I spent the first days cleaning and getting things back in running order. My advice to exchangers is always to try to leave the house and car better than you found them.
