Sint-Truiden, Belgium

Well equipped new villa in rural setting, yet close to historical cities in Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands !

Our comfortable and recently build house is situated in the fruit orchards of Belgium, in Haspengouw. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living and dining room are very spacious with a large table, a king-size sofa and a wide flat screen tv. We have 4 bedrooms, each with double beds (baby stuff and cradle still available). The bathroom consists of a central bath, a shower and 2 sinks. There are 2 separate toilets, a study, a utility room, a cellar and an attic. A large terrace to the large secluded green garden, with lots of children’s play tools: trampoline, bikes, sand box, slide, swings, basketball board, …
Our village Sint-Truiden is situated in the province of Limburg. It’s right in the Heart of Western Europe, close to a motorway leading to fascinating historical cities as well as to vast forest areas . At the same time we are in the centre of an extended net of cycling and hiking routes, and not to forget the wide range of children’s playgrounds and attraction parks (zoo, several theme parks, …).
Historical cities within easy reach: Belgium: Leuven (35 min), Brussels (50 min), Antwerp (60 min), Ghent (90 min), Bruges (110 min), the sea (120 min). The Netherlands: Maastricht (40 min), Roermond (60 min). Germany: Aachen (60 min), Dusseldorf (105 min), Cologne (90 min). France: Paris (3,5 hours). Within the hour you can visit three countries!

We are a family of five: Wim (°1980) and Anne (°1981), a civil engineer and a lecturer in higher education in law, and our children Charlotte (°2007), Amélie (°2009) and Matthias (°2012). For many years we have been exchanging with Anne’s parents and now it’s our turn. We are Intervac lovers!
