Apartment in the Swiss high Alps, Switzerland

Our sun flooded, two story apartment is situated in Vissoie, at the heart of a French speaking valleys - the "Val d'Annivers" - of the larger Rhone valley in the Swiss alps.
Vissoie is the most important junction in the Val d'Anniviers being the gateway to the iconic villages of St-Luc, Chandolin, Zinal and Grimentz all just 15 minutes away all accesible by public transport as well in summer as winter. So you basically don't need your car during your stay. All commodities are available in walking distance, boucher, bakery, small convenience store, hair dresser, pharmacy, banks, swimming pool (in summer), ice skating rink (in winter) etc.

Our apartment is on two floors (3rd and 4th floors).
Downstairs, there is a large entry where you can store all your equipments (ski boots, skis, walking shoes, backpacks, etc) and a very bright living room, with a modern and well equiped kitchen and a large eating table. From the living room, you can go out on a small balcony and enjoy the nice view. The bathroom is also downstairs. It has a practical shower and a washing machine.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. One with a queen bed, a second one with a dobble bed and a third one with a sofa bed.
The apartment has a total surface of 80m2.
If an exchange isn't possible, the apartment is also for rent.

Our sun flooded, two story appartement is situated in Vissoie, at the heart of a French speaking valleys - the "Val d'Annivers" - of the larger Rhone valley in the Swiss alps.
Vissoie is the most important junction in the Val d'Anniviers being the gateway to the iconic villages of St-Luc, Zinal, Grimentz and Chandolin all just 15 minutes away and accesible by public transport as well in summer as winter. So you basically don't need your car during your stay. All commodities are available in walking distance, boucher, bakery, small convenience store, hair dresser, pharmacy, banks, swimming pool (in summer), ice skating rink (in winter) etc. In Vissoie you have two restaurants with typical offerings such as raclette and fondue, but also more creative and inventive dishes.

In the Val d'Anniviers you can enjoy magnificient hiking trails of all different kinds of difficulties with impressive scenaries and refreshing mountain lake swims. You have numerous mountainbike trails as well as a downhill park in St-Luc. The valley is also excellent for road cycling, offering the possibility of multiple round trips. You have also the possibility to play tennis and mini-golf for free in summer, as well as access the swimming pools in Zinal, Grimentz and St-Luc. For a small supplement you also have acces to the SPA facilities.
In winter you can ski in the iconic St-Luc/Chandolin or Zinal-Grimentz ski resorts all going up to 3000 m high, so snow is guaranteed. Another ski resort, Vercorin, is also in the same valley and reachable in 25 minutes.
Whatever in which season you come, enjoy a drink on the balcony at the end of a sportive day while glazing at the impressive Corne de Sorbois, Obergabelhorn or the Besso.

Vissoie is also just a stone throw away from the most important towns in the Rhône valley, Sierre and Sion, which are always worthwhile a visit. Other ski resorts such as Crans Montana, Nendaz, Anzère or Loèche-les-Bains are at about 50 minutes away by car. Lausanne around one hour.
