Porto old town is World Heritage Patrimony and was voted by European Consumers Choice as the best european destination to travel in 2012, 2014, 2017 and 2019.
Porto & Douro Valley is also in the Top 10 European Travel Destinations for the Lonely Planet. For the Condé Nast Traveller magazine Porto has one of the 31 streets to see before dying - Cais da Ribeira.

Our home is a confortable 104 m2 flat close to good public transports (5 m walking to bus stop and 10m walking to Metro stop - Parque Maia). By public transports we can reach the city center downtown in 30 minutes and 15 minutes by car.
We are open to a non simultaneous exchange.

About the neighborhood
The house is in a residential area close to highways and other communication ways. We have a bus stop to Porto downtown at 5 minutes walking distance and metropolitan at 10 minutes.
There are several supermarkets and restaurants, some of them with Take Away.

The family was very friendly and showed a great hospitality. They even took us on a trip to see the best places of the Douro Valley and a couple of historic places in the region. They also anticipated on our questions about connections and transfers and helped a lot. The house in in a modern building in Maia, outside Porto, was paecedul and offered good comfort.
