Flat in Weimar, Germany

We live in a comfortable 100qm /  3 bedroom apartment in an old villa in a good and quiet area not far from Weimar city center. It has a nice garden where summer guests will also be able to harvest fruit and vegetables.
Weimar is Germany's city of classics and was Europe's cultural capital in 1999. It is mostly known as the home of Germany's most famous poets Goethe and Schiller, whose residences you can visit. The original Bauhaus was founded here and the Belgian arcitect Henry van de Velde built a number of houses. Weimar has an inner city castle, the Anna Amalia library with its famous Rokoko hall is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. There are several beautiful parks along the river Ilm and around the Belvedere castle. The river Saale with its vinyards and castles is not far. Right behind our house the Feininger bike route starts where you can bike along places where the painter Lionel Feininger found his images.
A sad but important sight is the concentration camp Buchenwald.
The cities of Erfurt and Jena are not far (both 30 minutes drive), but you can also visit Leipzig and Dresden if you are willing to drive a bit longer (one and a half to two hours drive).
