Our renovated 1970's 3-bedroom home features large, warm north facing windows to gaze at Coastal views of Bass strait, Goat Island and the 3 sister islands. It is situated above the picturesque town of Ulverstone, just 15 minutes drive from where the Spirit of Tasmania docks at Devonport, or 20 minutes from the cruise-ship port of Burnie. It provides a great base from which to explore Tasmania with many beaches, waterfalls and beautiful countryside locations within an hour's drive. The iconic Cradle Mountain National Park is just 50km away, making a day trip feasible with a 2-3 hour hike around Dove lake as a popular option. Transport options include flights into Devonport, Burnie or Launceston airports, or Devonport Spirit of Tasmania for vehicular transport.
The house has 2 rooms set up as bedrooms, 1 as an office with library, 2 living areas, a sunroom and renovated kitchen with modern appliances, including dishwasher, microwave oven, wall oven, electric hot plate, Espresso coffee machine and air fryer. The laundry has a washer/dryer. The bathroom has a full size bath and shower, with a toilet in separate room. Our caravan is available as an additional bedroom, with ensuite, if we are not using it at the time. It is not available for towing. Services include Wifi and an electric Heat-pump/air conditioner. It is in a quiet court setting, with planted gardens and an enclosed backyard.
