House in MONNIERES, France
Our house is in the heart of a small hamlet of 100 souls. It is a very quiet place with nice and welcoming neighbours. There is an organic winemaker in La Hallopière.
The house is 150 years old, made of stone with some charm. It is well equipped and has a quiet backgarden with a shaded terrace on hot summer afternoons... We have 2 bedrooms with a double bed, one room with two single beds. We also have a 'Lit clos', a traditional breton bed, basically an enclosed double bed which our guests usually enjoy for its cosiness...

Nærmeste lufthavn: Nantes Atlantique - 20 kms
The hamlet is typical of the area with old tiled houses and one organic winemaker making Muscadet.
The immediate suroundings are either organic vineyards or small woods allowing for very pleasant walks in the countryside. We also have an organic market gardener 200 m from our house. The river Sèvre is only 15 minutes walk away (wa have an old canoe), the centre of Monnières is 15 minutes walk away of a 3 minute drive (1.5 kms). There are however no shops in Monnières and the nearest grocery store is 4 kms away in Le Pallet which also has a great butcher's, 2 bakeries and a local market on saturday.https://www.lepallet.fr/
