Unavailable for exchange at the moment
Exchange dates Duration
May 17, 2018 - October 18, 2018

Our home is available for a non-simultaneous visit (June 16 to July21, 2016) and we will negotiate when we can visit your listing/home sometime in 2017 as long as it's not winter weather (i.e., snow and cold).

1 months

2018 home exchanges from September to end of November for a month or so. Two retired people ready to travel! Location is flexible, depending on the details.

Our Englewood pool-home is south of Sarasota and Tampa/St Petersburg in SW Florida.  There are many attractions in this area including the Gulf of Mexico beaches, the Intracoastal Waterway, The Ringling Museum of Art, Selby Gardens, The Sarasota Opera House, The Sarasota Orchestra, Trader Joe's, Van Wezel Auditorium, the Dali Museum, and Busch Gardens.  Orlando, and the Disney attractions, are another 2 hours north-east of Tampa.
You will find many golf courses to suit the golf enthusiasts throughout the area.

Sarasota, just 30 minutes north is the home of the Ringling Museum of Art which is a terrific facility with a large collection of European and American art.

We have completed 12 exchanges in the past 4 years and have enjoyed each one. We have visited Australia, Belgium, UK, Denmark, France, Czech Republic, Scotland and Canada.

About Our Family

We are two experienced exchangers who enjoy gardening, opera, orchestra performances, music, shell art, travel, vegetarian food, walking, swimming, golf, and life in general. We are both professional educators who have lived and worked in the USA, Canada, and the UAE. We maintain a positive outlook on life and we enjoy having friends visit us here in SW Florida. We plan to continue to do home exchanges as long as we can. Life is much better when we are able to experience the world beyond our own borders and we hope we can offer some others this same option.

Lifestyle

We enjoy the coast and all the it offers to us. We visit the local Gulf beaches to see the birds, collect shells, and watch the dolphins. We can walk for miles on the Manasota Key beaches. We also enjoy some of the cultural opportunities found in Venice, Sarasota and beyond. We especially enjoy the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota. The lifestyle here is laid back but you can also enjoy the many restaurants in the area, golf, tennis, cycling, kayaking, snorkelling, and walking. We have a nice pool in our back garden and we enjoy taking a dip whenever the desire hits us.
